I was born into a musical family. My mother was an opera singer and all my brothers and sisters have been steeped in music. Music is what moves me through this existence with joy.
I taught myself to play guitar when I was thirteen. Before that I learned piano and drums. I played in bands all throughout college, mainly as lead singer which helped me pay the bills.
Music is the universal language. You can be in any culture but people will always join in song. Ive been told that my music connects with people. They feel joyful, uplifted, even changed after listening. If thats so, then Ive been blessed to be able to be a sounding board for joy and laughter.
But as long as my better half feels the spirit, then Im happy. (My better half is Peggy, in case you’re not married and haven’t figured this out!)
